Sea Fishing in County Clare

The spectacular coastline of County Clare extends from Galway Bay down to the River Shannon and offers exceptional shore angling - from rocks, piers and sandy beaches. Species include Wrasse, Mackerel, Bass, Pollack, Ling, Conger, Dogfish and Ray. An Irish record Bass of 17lbs 13ozs was caught near Doonbeg in West Clare in October 2000.

Charter Boats for deep sea angling operate off the Clare coast out of Liscannor and Kilkee and we can arrange fishing trips on your behalf. The boats are fitted with modern fish detection and safety equipment and run by experienced skippers. Exciting catches of Blue Shark are not unusual !
